Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. Then, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen's superior wrestling skill defeated McGill, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for a TKO win in the second round. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
